Dear Parents and Carers,

The school community of St Anthony’s Wanniassa welcomes enrolments from families who would like their children to be educated in an environment where gospel values are promoted and taught from the perspective of the Catholic Faith Tradition. St Anthony's School is a learning community supporting the St Anthony’s Catholic Parish and serves families living in the Tuggeranong district of Canberra. At St Anthony’s we strive to create a safe, happy and nurturing school environment for the children in our care.

St Anthony’s staff aims to work together with parents and carers to provide a quality education across all key learning areas and to support and encourage the faith development of our students in the Christian atmosphere that exists in our school. With a positive partnership between home and school we aim to create an environment where learning is valued and your child feels a sense of belonging. An environment where your child takes a shared ownership for their learning and where the growth of your child will be nurtured helping them to develop a healthy self-esteem. Your involvement in your child’s education, whenever possible, is most desirable and will support your child’s learning.

I invite you to attend and participate in our celebrations, information meetings, three way parent/student/teacher conferences, excursions, clubs and sports carnivals. Your help with class activities such as reading, craft, maths or sport is also valued. If you have a particular talent or interest in an area not mentioned and would like to give us some assistance, please contact the school, as your assistance will be greatly appreciated.
